I am storyteller at heart, with writing being my first love. There is something magical about how words, arranged in a particular order cast a spell over the reader transporting them to new locations, and inspiring action. When done right, words act as a six sense, unlocking emotion, sights, smells, learning, and a desire to go further.

If you do not hear music in your words, you have put too much thought into your writing and not enough heart.

Head First Into The Camino is the mental preparation guide the Camino has been missing.

Drawing from years of personal journals, conversations with hundreds of pilgrims, and the hard-won lessons of walking more than a dozen Caminos, Wall covers what no other Camino book does: how to build a Why List that keeps you walking when your body wants to stop, how to navigate the three mental stages of the trail, how to survive post-trail depression, and how to carry the Camino's simplicity home with you.

Head First Into The Camino is for anyone who has ever dreamed of walking across Spain and wondered whether they have what it takes. The answer is yes. But the Camino asks for more than strong legs. It asks for an open mind. This book helps you build one.

The world is still out there, waiting to be discovered. Not the world of package tours and resort pools, but the one that exists beyond the last paved road, in the places where language fails and instinct takes over, where the only way to understand a culture is to sit down, share a meal, and listen.

Quinton Wall has spent a lifetime answering the pull that most people learn to ignore. Across all seven continents, on foot, by motorcycle, by train, and by felucca, he has sought out the raw, unscripted moments that only come to those willing to step beyond the familiar. Tales from the Road is a collection of those moments: vivid, honest, often funny, and told with the conviction that the greatest risk in life is not the unknown, but the comfort of never seeking it.

If you have ever stared at a map and felt something stir, this book is for you.

What do you when your dreams come true?

Like many people who are drawn to walk the Camino de Santiago, I was looking for some meaning in my life and, as crazy as it sounds, how to feel again. For 27 days I walked the Camino Francis from St Jean Pied de Port.

Along my journey I discovered something about myself, and perhaps more importantly, about the Way itself. Who would have guessed St. James is one sarcastic bastard?
